Have your engine checked by your machine shop for MAX "SAFE" bore. Some 4.7L engines are limited to a .020 while others can take .040. overbore!

* EPC108 - CERAMIC THERMAL BARRIER COATING IS APPLIED TO THE TOP OF THE PISTON ONLY. THIS COATING IS ESPECIALLY RECOMMENDED FOR
* EPC100T - BLACK SKIRT COATING IS SIMILAR TO HARD ANODIZING WITH A TEFLON SEAL ON THE SKIRTS & IS VERY DENSE TO INCREASE PISTON SKIRT LIFE. ALL SURFACES OF PISTON ARE COATED.
* EPC102 - HARD SKIRT COATING WITH TEFLON SEAL & THERMAL BARRIER TOPS BY COMBINING EPC100T & RRC108 THE PISTON HAS THE ULTIMATE TOP & SKIRT PROTECTION. IT IS IDEAL FOR TURBOCHARGED ENGINES.
Here we have put together the KIT to help you run RELIABLE HP through your 4.7L ENGINE. Your stock pistons are a weak link and are bad choice for a performance build. Our ROSS postons will allow you to push the limits of your 4.7L engine.
These kits are priced with your choice of Pistons (FLAT/DOME/DISH) & Wrist Pins. This piston kit comes with everything you need as far as pistons go. RINGS NOT INCLUDED but can be added to the order. You can use these pistons on your stock Rods or an after market forged Rods.
Your Stock Pistons only have 1/8 of an inch between the piston top and the top ring. This is VERY bad if you want to run Boost or any decent amount of Nitrous "SAFELY" without worrying about overheating and seizing the top ring.

Custom pistons are not returnable for refund or credit regardless of circumstances, unless the customer submitted a written purchase order and pistons do not meet the requirements of the written purchase order. Do not attempt to install ROSS Racing Pistons before reading the instructions. ROSS Racing Pistons reserves the right to make changes in design, materials and specifications, or to make product changes without incurring liability or obligation with respect to similar products previously manufactured.
1) 11:1 Pistons are not a "TOSS IN, BOLT ON PISTON" your machine shop will need to do the math and verify piston to valve/head clearance. You need to verify PISTON to HEAD/valve clearance and insure you have the proper clearances. Selecting the proper head gasket thickness will be key.
